Inspector’s condition notes

Like-new condition Jupiter-11 lens, complete set, comes with a Preset ring. 13-blade aperture — with an exceptional 13 blades, it produces beautifully round, smooth bokeh. Optical is perfect with no scratches. Focus and aperture glide smoothly like a new lens. Internal components are tight, with no loose internal elements. The external body is in like-new condition, but there are 2-3 small areas of paint loss or scratches on the lens barrel edges or around the focus ring and aperture ring (you have to look closely to see them).

How this lens renders

Compared to other lenses of the same spec at the 135mm focal length, this Jupiter-11 stands out for its surprisingly pleasant sharpness. Wide open at f/4, it already delivers solid sharpness across the frame—some brass-body versions stay sharp all the way into the corners. Stop down to f/5.6 and the contrast noticeably tightens up. The bokeh is the real selling point—creamy and soft, melting the background smoothly from f/4 thanks to the 135mm telephoto reach (clean bokeh with no swirls or soap-bubble artifacts). The colors are lovely too. This copy produces noticeable vignetting in the corners when wide open, which is great for adding mood to your shots. It fades once you stop down. As for flare, I'll be straight with you—lenses in this family are quite prone to it. If you'd rather avoid flare, I'd recommend using a lens hood whenever you shoot into the light. But if you like that dreamy, hazy look, it works wonderfully as a creative effect. Perfect for anyone looking for a sharp, beautiful manual focus telephoto lens without breaking the bank. A great value worth adding to your collection.
