Lens in like-new condition. The Optical elements are flawless with no scratches. Focus and aperture operate as smoothly as a brand-new lens. Internal components are solid — no internal movement or rattle. The exterior body looks like new, but there are 2–3 small paint chips or scratches around the lens barrel edges, focus ring, and aperture ring (you have to look closely to spot them).

The Canon FL 50mm f/1.4 has a classic rendering style, offering a slightly soft but pleasing character wide open, sharpening up nicely as you stop down. Its bokeh is smooth and creamy, especially when capturing portraits, isolating subjects beautifully against a softly blurred background.
